As I looked out, I saw many children wadling in the pool. I saw myriads of floats that kept parents and children afloat. I heard the squealing and shrieking of kids as they played in the water. I saw a man setting up the barbecue pit. I saw families congregating near each other, chatting merrily, as if there wasn't a worry in the world.
And now, here am I, a girl, who's feeling the urge for a family reunion, like she always has during CNY. A girl, yearning to free herself from the unmerciless clutches of school and education. This is a girl, who can't wait to meet up with her cousins whom she has not seen in a million gazillion years. I am a girl, wanting to resume watching football and relish the mere process of kicking a football for 90++ minutes. This is me and I can't wait for the exams to be overrrrr!
To be frank, I was envious of what the other families down there were doing. I mean, it's like their kids are still toddlers and babies, whiny and all but there don't have to burden themselves with anything in the world, at least for the time being. I wish I could be down there, swimming and enjoying company with those around me. ahhh, and while I'm dreaming about all this stuff, there's a voice at the back of my head reminding me that I'll be tuning into the exam radiostation. I'll be turning all geekie and nerdddie and something that I like, but not too extreme. Anyway, I hear this boy who's laughing so freakishly and hysterically. It's as if he's like mocking me, implying that I can't enjoy myself now while he can. ohh well, if I can't do it now, then I'll enjoy after the exams. bleahhhhhh:P
